We need a real party. A conservative party. I've had it with the republicans. I will never again vote for a rino. If dem or dem-lite are our only choices, well...I'll sit home again like last time and let the other side win again.
Maybe that will hasten the time when the only options are armed revolt by a few million patriots or slavery under dem/socialist tyranny.
As terrible as those days will be, it is better to die a free man than to live as a slave.

A Lot of Very Strong Points
But I would have to question:
"That America is the greatest nation on Earth and that it is a force for freedom and democracy."
This might be just semantics, but the Founders weren't exactly enamored of "democracy".
"We are a republican government. Real liberty is never found in despotism or in the extremes of democracy."....! ~Alexander Hamilton
Also, it is impossible to be a force for "freedom and democracy".
If a certain peoples don't want it, we can't force it on them. That would be the antithesis of spreading freedom, no?

Thanks for the mention in the essay
Needless to say, I fully agree with you.
Many, many people on the Right constantly blame the libs for the "destruction" of this country.
Not me. I'll place the blame where it squarely belongs: on the GOP. For failing to oppose them.
The Dems are doing what they think is proper, and fight hard for their beliefs. Absolute Energizer Bunnies.
But if the GOP would fight like that, the libs would completely fail! History's proven that true conservatism is a winning philosophy, and it succeeds every time the people have a chance to choose it.
The GOP is to blame for this country's destruction for failing to promote the one ideology that will save it.
And McBonehead's right at the front of the pack.

Occam's Razor
History speaks VERY clearly on this, though the GOP tries to distract you with its right hand while the left hand is stabbing conservatism in the back.
1980, 1984, 1988, 1994: campaigns based on strong conservative principals, and landslide wins.
1992, 1996, 2006, 2008: campaigns built on squishy "moderate" offerings, and the GOP gets its butt kicked.
2000 and 2004: a candidate hiding his essential "moderate" nature eking out squeaker wins against arguably THE most incompetent opponents since Dukakis, in which the gun issue played big both times.
Which is exactly why the Dems are avoiding that issue like the plague nowadays.
But there it is: the election history of the last almost-three decades, and the message is as plain as the noses on your faces.

. "Juan McShamnesty has NEVER reflected any Republican values.."
#@**!!dammit, Gunny! Forever I have been saying McCain NEVER WAS a Republican, much less a conservative. McCain was a Democrat MOLE in the Republican party from day one! THAT is why it was so easy for him to, "..reach across the aisle.." because HE was a Democrat! THAT is why it was so easy for him to , "...stick his thumb in his party's eye.." because he NEVER was a Republican. THAT is why it was so easy for him to be branded a "maverick" because it hid his real agenda which was to propel the Democrat party back into power.

He could have torpedoed Obama's run several times over with such simple pre-election tidbits as, "Show us your birth certificate and prove you are eligible for the most powerful position in the world." or "Let us see your college transcripts..." or any of numerous mentions of Ayres or Wright or the anti-Americanism of Michelle. He not only did not but chastised severely any of his staff who erred off the path of McCainism. Brian R checked this out and when McCain first decided to go into politics he WAS originally going as a Democrat but his advisors suggested he would have zero chance of getting elected in Arizona as a Dem so he went 'Pub. He has never been anything but a Democrat saboteur burrowed deep in the Republican Party. His run at this time was determined by behind the scenes puppeteers as their best chance. They saw Obama's popularity among the rank and file welfare and free cheesers and decided the time was now. McCain was their safety net should Obama have failed but McCain did everything possible to assure Obama's success....

And I am beginning to regret "holding my nose" and voting for McShame. Some of his comments in the last few months border on being "senile". (Or perhaps he has "dementia"?)
It is sad, because I was proud of his service in the US Navy. His comments, however, are changing that "pride" to "concerned regret".
Partially this pride concerned his family being from Mississippi. His grandfather's service during WW2 was outstanding. (Admiral McCain's reports on Guadalcanal alone are enough for me to say that he is a forgotten hero of that war.)
But I hope that when I get to McShame's age that I retain enough of my facilities to have the good sense to keep my mouth shut.
(PS: I have been having alot of fun at your site tweaking Ivan's nose. If you would prefer that I not, I will instantly quit.)

I refused to vote for McScamnesty and I refuse to ever vote for ANY RINO again,....the GOP can "go to hell",.....RIP!
