I think you sound like a wonderful person with brains. Hang in there if you want a family. Like I tell my daughter (approaching 30, with no one in sight suitable) that you will find someone when you stop looking and when God deems it to be time, if it is in your time. I so agree with you that getting a child out of wedlock is so NOT the way to go. Kids need BOTh parents for so many reasons. Role models etc. What I could not give my kids, my husband could and they need that balance.

So I say God Bless, and may you find someone if it is Gods will.

Except I have two cats! Whatever happened to shame? I guess I'm one of the few people in my 30's who would still be ashamed to tell my parents I was single and pregnant, although at this point they might be happy to have a grandchild however it happens. I also love that if you feel this way you must be some crazy religious nut. I couldn't be more of a lapsed Catholic. What I am is a conservative trapped in New York State!
