Comment on: All The Right Moves!

Dealing with the right wing extremist!

Don't those nutballs

know how to hold a protest?

I have looked high and low, but have yet to find anything to indicate they want to be taken seriously.

No photos of overturned cars or burning piles of trash. No videos of hooligans throwing rocks through store front windows or carting off arm loads of plunder. No police and mob confrontations pushing back and forth. No clouds of tear gas wafting down the streets. No fire hoses knocking down rioters. No assaults. No arrests. No injuries. No nothing.

It' no small wonder the Administration an Congress continue to dismiss them.

Hahahahaha!

Great essay! That was hilarious!

Congrats on being there.

Right Wing Terrorist!

I'm glad you were able to make it out alive and report your life threatening expierience back to us.

Great post

Nice

And it made me chuckle...Glad you could be a part of the fun!!

Don't forget looting

Looting is a time honored tradition that is sadly lacking in the novice right wing extremist movement!

I understand some ACORN employees are now available. Maybe they can help.

Love The Signs

Inparticular "We Need an Impeachment Czar".

We were there as well. What struck me was the people. They were reserved for thr most part but, you could strike up a conversation with anyone in town and feel comfortable. Even the Libs were chomping at the bit to speak with us. They were very curious and wanted to know "What is this Tea Party thing all about". They truly have no clue.

We need to each bring at least 2 more people there next year (before the election) and really shut the place down!

It was a GREAT DAY!

John Boy

Great report! Just what I'd expect from a fellow North Texan. I grew up in Dallas and own a house in Foat Wuth that I'll return to when I retire from the Navy early next year.

Hey, John Boy...

...thanks for writing with such a sense of humor. Enjoyed your post. LOL.

How did I miss this post??

I thought I'd discovered all the blog posts about the 9/12 march last month, but I keep finding them a month later.

If all of us TH'ers there could have gotten together as planned, we would have rivalled some of the state contingents!

Next year we need to come up with a way to meet up, maybe a couple alternate meet up places in case it gets crazy like this year. (it will be crazier)

A few common observations.

Like you, I never talked to single stranger, it reminded me of a small town party, like the old cliche, everyone was just a friend you hadn't met yet.

I met a lot of apologetic 'recovering democrats' who all pretty much said the same thing, "we were duped".

The lack of trash was the most amazing thing.
As a long time hunter, I'm used to packing my trash back out, but I was amazed at how many were doing the same thing, carrying trash all day because they couldn't find a tash can.

I carted mine all the way back to the subway before I found a can that wasn't overflowing.

America did itself Proud.

and I can't wait to go back next year :)

My post about the march and our experience at the flight 93 memorial on 9-11 are on my blog if ya wanna take a peek.

Thanks for bringin back all those memories.
