Bible Is Ok With Gay Marriage

Oh, Goodie!

The bottom drops out of our economy and you people want to talk about the gays!

Do You Have a Point Here?

"He calls all people including those struggling in the gay life to leave their life of sin."

The only "struggle" that gay people seem to have is with the repression created by the Christian right. The USA is NOT a theocracy. Our founding fathers were mostly deists. They understood the peril created by imposing religious beliefs on society or into law. They got it; You don't.

What on earth are you going to do if you have a gay child?

Hey Pet Goat thanks for reading my post. But for the record it wasn't us on the right who brought this issue up. The writer and newsweek brought it up.
This does have to do with what many of us believe the Bible teaches so it is very important.
Thanks.
Havea great one and keeping thinking along with posting on my blog.

Ok I know some people have not been treated right because they have made the choice to live a gay life. I will agree that is wrong but because I teach and preach it is wrong doesn't mean I don't care about others. I believe in the teaching hate the sin but love the sinner.
So exp0lain to me how myself and others on the right have created repression on gay people?
I don't see too many followers of Jesus killing gay people or making them sit in the back of the bus. Yes I agree we have got to do a better job of reaching out to them the way Jesus would but not for one second should we say the way they are living is ok.
Have a good one,

Great post

Thanks Mad for your comment.

David,
our founing fathers based our Constitution an country on Judeo Christian beliefs. But the goal was no to have a government imposed religion, like Britain had in thoise days. They still had a reverence for Go an Holy Scripture. Even Ben Franklin, an atheist, agreed with these values. The trouble comes when the other side wants to force their views upon the opposing side. Marriage is not a right but a privalege. Which is not to be taken lightly. The problem is David your side is doing just that. All we are asking is that what the American people voted on and stated was their wish be valued and respected. Unfortunately the liberal left doesn't believe in that.
