Great quote and thanx for posting this. Sobering reminder as to what we are up against.

As I was reding the quote, it struck me that in fact, the true poor in this country will be no better off with this supposed 'stimulus' bill. And let's face it, the emotional drum beat by the leftists is to 'lift up the poor and disadvantaged.'

The majority who are going to benefit are those who are about keeping what they have, not actually lifting anyone up as we keep hearing about. Talk about double speak!

I wish someone would let people in Washington know this. Apparently the new motto of my way or the highway and every one needs to be on the same level playing field.

Unfortunately, we now have half of the electorate paying no taxes. Is the end of the USA near? I hope not. There is still an inate desire in the human heart to do better for one's self and for one's children, but the road will be hard in the near future.
