Thank you for the very kind words and warm welcome -- I wasn't sure how my blog would be received here. I am sure the summary of my left / right views do not exactly match everyone elses.

I laughed when I read your comment on having "a very interesting point of view." That is both the curse and the blessing of my life. Folks do not always get me, but I thankfully I tend to keep trying anyways and sometimes I seem to strike a cord.
