Lordamercy, I wish you weren't 100% right!!

Wow

You are completely right and I wish you were not.

Me Too

Lets hope I'm wrong...it happens all the time, according to my wife. I'm off for my daughter's law school graduation in DC (Steven Breyer commensement speaker). I'll be back Tuesday. Glad to skip this mini heatwave out here.

sooooo........

tell us how you REALLY feel!

skep

Hope you have a great trip and congrats on daughter's grad.!!

udder disaster, california

right, but, i mean, if you're gay, go get married.

evidently, these are the bitter california voters.

don't talk to me about food prices. i cook, and i am totally irritated right now by the climbing price of an ear of corn.

i've been away for awhile b/c little league started. BUT, i made a phenomenal meal today, and i'm going to share the recipe, thus turning your blog into the food network.

okay, chicken stock on the boil w/firm tofu (you live in CA, so live w/it). okay, so, steamer over the stock w/chopped boneless chicken breast and garlic (you're poaching it). right, so once the tofu is done, remove, and keep poaching chicken. squeeze lemon over it occasionally, maybe a little of the stock. okay, so when chicken is pretty much poached, add bok choy, garlic, red pepper, peanuts and raw corn kernels in w/steaming chicken. also, into boiling stock, add whole grain pasta, also garlic. finish up the pasta and add soy sauce to pasta. add the chicken and veggies and tofu and do a stir fry. season w/salt, pepper, and fresh cilantro. i'll be expecting a sarcastic comment over this entry, skep41.

oops, forgot the sesame seeds

where's skep?

I too wish you weren't right. Congratulations on the graduation(s). You had two right? I just got back in play after a graduation and a nice vacation. I'll catch you when you get back.

A commercial

Pardon my interruption but I have a new post that I think is important. :-))

Beltway Girl

No snidey comments about food at all. Sounds delicious!
I dont see why anyone is this state is against gay marriage as the Dems are already exercising their rights under Bower vs Harwick on the taxpayers of this state...who are responding with a low moan and sticking OBAMA signs in their front yards!

Sarge

Yeah, this was the first one..my daughter graduating at American University Washington Law School. DC is so beautiful and a lot of fun. My next post will be about Justice breyer's commencement speech, which was a DOOZY!
My youngest graduates from UC Irvine in a few weeks but thats just a short drive down the freeway.

Crawfish and Emjayne

Yes, Craw, I wish I wasnt so shy on my blog. I started it because I live in a world where my family, my friends, my business associates, my bosses and all the people around me are extreme liberals and I've learned not to be impolite and get in stupid arguments so I come here to express myself. Its really nice that I feel like there's a little group of us who all exchange our opinions without the HalD's or Roberts that we know butting in and messing it up.
Thank you Emjayne.I'm going to go read all of your sites in the next couple of days. I have a horrible deadline free-lance job and four days were just ripped out of my schedule.

Shhhhhhhhh!! If you mention their names they may hear you!!
I am out ranting today about the "principled" Repubs who are not going to vote for McCain and, instead, put Obama in to ruin this country!!
If the Repubs get out and vote he doesn't have a prayer! If they turn up their noses at McCain and stay home he will be in!
For me, that is the worst thing that could happen. Bush has screwed things up enough...Obama could finish the job!

Emjayne

The pendulum swings back and forth. The entrenched 'establishment' which is now liberal, needs a severe shock before reform is possible. Maybe McCain can win, Obama is such an obvious idiot (although he HAS been to all 57 states) that its hard to believe that people would vote him in, but thats what Bush has done to the Republican Party.

skep

I know. I'd like to knock Bush senseless except he's already there.
You know the media won't show up Obama's ignorance and if they happen on it they will just say "He's tired"
The Repubs in Congress are getting a shock and they are so arrogant they don't even know it.
Have you seen they overrode Bush's veto of the farm bill??? At least they helped.
But it was the wrong bill vetoed and the wrong bill overridden so they have to do it over again.
A Rep woman is leading the cause to override the veto!! I didn't get her name.
I hope all these orgs that write to me to send calls and faxes get on the stick and start fighting this.

Well Lets See What They Do

I'm working on a new post. I think we're entering a crisis. Bush at least tried to get the Saudis to increase production. The three morons trying to get his job havent caught on to how serious this is. They dont live in our world.

pretty good dish all around, although the tofu would've done better w/real chicken stock than the little cubes. reading about your justice adventure now! pretty interesting!
