I was considering this pandering (highlighted by Malkin) when writing the article. I support Bush completely. I think Iraq was a stroke of geopolitical genius (especially if we negotiate a base in the north). I am concerned, however, that he doesn't take compassion too far. Thanks for the observation. I agree.

Compassion Can be dangerous

Compassion is a powerful emotion, and we are called to live by it. But compassion can also be a misleading emotion. I think you do a good job in bringing out the difference.

Further, there are those who simply take advantage of compassion, and take it an entirely different level.

If government is to be many things, compassion should not be on the list.
