BYU Finally Wises Up

Dr. Jones should definitely stick to what he knows, which is atomic and molecular physics, not structural mechanics.

The only reason I'm even commenting is that about fifteen years ago, he had an article in Scientific American about what might be called lukewarm fusion (muon-catalyzed fusion) that I read with great interest. I even wrote a letter to him and received a response, so there's a personal connection.

Unfortunately, I've heard nothing more about his work (if any) in that field. Maybe it didn't pan out. I'm very disappointed in him now. But then, maybe there's something in the atmosphere at BYU as the Flieshman-Pons table-top fusion scheme also got its start there if I remember right.

Oh well.
