We're Friends, Lets Have A Baby

The divorce rate in 2005 (per 1,000 people) was 3.6 -- the lowest rate since 1970, and down from 4.2 in 2000 and from 4.7 in 1990. (The peak was at 5.3 in 1981, according to the Associated Press.) hmmm...but that can't be! Damn hippies.

oh and the effects of single-parent and divorce households on children;

Females want to have babies with their gay pets ... err I mean "gay best friends". They get this stupid idea from the TV show "Will & Grace" and movies like "The Next Best Thing". Not only does this patronize and objectify gay men. ("Poor thing, I'll help him live a more normal life by giving him a baby!")

Never have a kid with your friend. You will end up losing half your money...seriously.

so I know I'm late in getting to this one, but does anyone think that this "women having babies with their gay friends" have anything to do with the fact that they can't find satisfactory men/father-figures? If a man is going to be a lousy dad, then it wouldn't be the best thing to hop into bed with him and hope for the best, would it?

I still think it's a bad idea to decide to have a baby with a friend because you have nothing else to do, but...
