Energy Prices and a Food Crisis.

The government has made it so hard for oil companies to drill on our own soil and doesn't even account for global increase in demand, and they still want to point the finger at the oil companies for the rising gas prices. They've also blocked coal to oil, which could move us in the direction of energy independence. Obviously coal to oil, drilling in the ANWR and off shore isn't going to completely make us independent, but combining these solutions with the government getting out of the way and letting the market pick the most profitable, alternative energy, such as nuclear power, would get us out of this crisis.

Unfortunately the idiots in Washington have their heads so far up their a**, that they must play off of America's ignorance in the workings of our economy and propose new taxes and more regulation to "solve the problem."

It's quite unfortunate.

I also forgot about the proposals by the Dems to Nationalize Oil refineries. YES!!!
