Separation of Church and State: ...hmmm ?

New Teacher

Sounds like you need a new instructor or it will be a long year. Liberal instructors get away with just about anything these days.

Same old story

This is nothing new, I heard the same liberal rant when I was in school. Really separation of church and state is about having the government create a nationwide religion, ie., we all have to be catholic or baptist or worship ufo's. But liberals like to take it to the extreme meaning since the community college probably receives state funds they or most likely your teacher doesn't want it brought up in class. Which is moronic. I'd let her know that most holistic medicine started out with religious overtones, look up info on the net about what she is teaching, she if it is involved in religious practices anywhere in the world, if it is argue the "separation clause" with her. I would believe that most of what she would teach about has some sort of religious background. Acupuncture, acupressure, herbal remedies and so on have been a religious healing practices.

But I would be careful, fight it too much and your grade could suffer. Remember you paid for the class speak your mind.

That cuts both ways

The first time she brought up anything related to radical environmentalism, global warming, radical feminism, etc I would politely remind her that she is breaking her own rules...

Yeah,

I talked with the ADF. They were very informative, and I must say I am the better for it. I plan on playing a eugenics video in my sociology class and then handing out an article from the January 2009 Townhall about Climate change. It highlights the possibilities of "mass beauracratic genocide". Hopefully, if I am not stopped by the instructor the students will be able to draw their own conclusions as to why these silly conservatives fear "Socialisim(s)".
