Here goes nothing...

AS of today, Rudy is also my man. I will change if Newt gets in the race. His accomplishments as Speaker of the House during a democratic party controlled government cannot be ignored. He rallied the people with overwelming success. He is a commom sense intellect along the lines of Harry Truman and Ronald Reagan.
Please keep an open mind if Newt challenges for the nomination. I do not think it to late to change your independent registration. At least you will have a voice.

I'm sure it's not to late to change my registration, but I'm never changing it. Not even if I live to be 100. It's a matter of principle to me. Political parties come and go and get more or less liberal/conservative as the years go by, so I want to remain free of the party machinery. It sucks not being able to participate in primaries, but it's worth it to me.

Newt is fine, but my mind is made up on this matter. There is almost a spiritual connection I feel with Rudy, there is nobody in this country that could take my vote away from him.
