Liberals refuse to accept reality
Do not worry about what liberals think until they open their eyes and mind to reality. Millionaire creating welfare dependents to justify there existence. What do these people support to eliminate government dependency tax and take. I have already hidden mine so I can use yours to fund my social programs. Money already buried by Democrat elected officials are not going to be taxed, just as the Republican money is not going to be taxed.
There is nothing racist about the truth, put it under a microscope and prove it let the ignorant and incompetent stay lost in the cool aid of peace and unity.Nothing you wrote was taken as racist, I have been a black man for forty-three years. God bless you keep blogging.

I admit
to being racist. My definition of racist differs somewhat from the Liberal mould though.
I'm a racist because I believe in the Human Race, to which all of mankind belongs. (maybe not Larry King or Michael Jackson though)
When I explained that to a very Liberal co-worker, she gasped and plugged her ears, it was just to much to endure I guess.

A Question needing an answer
I wrote on this topic and have one question:
http://andrews.blogtownhall.com/2008/10/10/one_question_abo ut_racism.thtml
Why on earth would Republicans need to "appeal to racism" to get racists to oppose Obama. OBAMA IS BLACK. Racists aren't voting for him no matter what anyone does.
Now, if he were white and they were linking him to black individuals or black causes, that could be argued as an appeal to racism, but if you are a racist, you aren't voting for the black man anyway. So what good does it do to link him to another black man? You weren't voting for him before, and aren't after.
It makes no sense to try to argue that Republicans are "playing to racism". Unless the Democrats claim most racists didn't know Obama was black until the Republicans pointed it out.

here's another way
People need an education about the ramifications of much of Obama's agenda. His health care plan is the conception of soacialism in American society. These blind followers in unions do not relaize that his proposal passively diminishes their collective bargaining. As BO said everyone that "doesn't like their plan can join the same plan that Senator McCain and I enjoy".
Problems:
1. We taxpayers foot the bill for that one.
2. Health insurance is a free enterprize, the US has 2 national plans Medicare and the Veteran's Administration.
3. His proposal will devastate health insurance companies.
4. As proposed, employers will be encouraged to offer substandard health plans so tha employees will opt for the government plan. This is simple business economics.
5. This reduces the labor unions bargaining clout for health benefits, which is always a point of negotiation.
6. The plan infringes on state's rights, since each state legislates their insurance.
7. Health care insurors are both nonprofit and proprietary. Propietery plans are public entities with stockholders their loss will once again effect the economy. Nonprofits are the generators of health insurance.
8. The financial debacle will impact will the economy and employment.
9. It creates a further disparity in healthcare for Medicare and Medicaid recipients.
10. This plan will create astronomical financial and tax burdens for his precious middle class (us).
I wish we could get a grass roots campaign to get this message out! This reality might change minds!
AND as an FYI,
BO did not come up with the electronic medical record (EMR). It was incorporated into the Medication Error Reduction Act (MERA) in 2001 by a republican congress.

Patrick, thanks for your support
I know that there are black men and women who recognize how racism has been hijacked for purposes other than racial equality - i.e., greed, politics, etc. I do appreciate that you understand how many white folks feel. I'm sure that between you and I, there wouldn't be any problems - we can get along just fine - with mutual respect.

boaz, it sounds like she already has
everything figured out and your interpretation didn't fit her definition - so she didn't want to hear it. That's right out of the liberal playbook.

I understand Dawn, sometimes it does
get to us though. You're probably like me in that I've known so many really good black people that I just wish they'd disavow the race-baiters. Those people don't help, they just make things worse.

You're absolutely right Andrews
It really is illogical but I don't think that the race-baiters care whether it is valid or not, they're just spraying racist labels all over the McCain/Palin ticket to add the "racist" tag to them, warranted or not. Who knows, it may sway some of that small percentage of blacks who intend to vote for McCain. I hope that they are smart enough to see through that smokescreen - if they're conservative, they probably are smart enough.

Mildred, you've got some good
analysis there - you should jump in blog with the rest of us. We should expect the McCain campaign to distribute those details - sadly they aren't running a very good campaign. You have presented the details in a logical, easy to understand manner - it's a shame that only a few of us will benefit from that.

Garnet92 re Racism
Not only is your post a great one, each and every comment here is right on and adds to the argument. Especially Andrews, he is right that Any real racist already decided not to vote for BO. All these racism charges along with the ambulance chasers Jackson and Sharpton, go back to the Lib?Dem strategy of making minorities victims and keeping them there thru welfare and lousy schools. This victim mentality colors (NO pun intended) everything in minority life. Until they themselves break that tie to the Dems who are and were never out to improve their lot (IT was actually Republicans who got the Civil Rights Legislation passed)nothing will change. You cannot keep hiding behinf race. Obama will be a bad President no matter what his color. It is not because of his black father or white mother, it is because of his politics

Did you see on O'Reilly the other night
How my favorite Fox News Contributer (if you ever read my blog you'll get the sarcasm here) Dr. Marc LaMont Hill, spoke about the whole hockey mom thing?
He thinks she is just trying to appeal to white voters because black people don't know anything about hockey! (Ahem, Jorges LaRoque). So she should be trying to appeal to basketball moms too.
Now it may just be me and my silly logic. But is it at all possible that Sarah Palin is just simply trying to make a connection with mothers? Mothers whom are active in their children's lives. Working mothers. All mothers.
Nah...we're all racists.
And boaz that is hilarious. And I agree. Those two are NOT human.
And is it not at all racist that 98% of blacks are voting for Obama? If that isn't somewhat to do with race, then that is the absolute highest approval rating I have EVER seen in my life and they are having snowball fights in hell!

I have
I have met and talked with blacks who disavow Jackson and Sharpton. It is possible to have an open and honest dialogue about race with these. And it is quite educational.
For just a couple of examples, watch "Barbershop" with Ice Cube and Cedric the Entertainer. They got in a heap of trouble for saying, "F#*@ Jesse Jackson!" and a few other choice lines...

No racism here
The liberal radicals tell us that any talk against Obama is racism.
BTW have you seen the war of Jesse Jackson and his son? Jess Sr. said that the Jews will "Jackson believes that, although "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades" remain strong, they'll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House." Now Jesse Jr. "he's distancing himself from dear-old-dad's comment on Israel: "I know that under a Barack Obama presidency, the United States of America's relationship with Israel will remain rock-solid, . . ."
