Romney is pro-war on terror, pro-religion, pro-life, pro-defense, pro-gun, pro-capitalism, pro-war, pro-surge, pro-transparency. Romney is against illegal immigration, same-sex marriage, timetables for withdrawal, tax increases, isolationism, closing Gitmo, being jerked around by the U.N. and spending increases greater than than inflation minus 1%.

Isn't that a conservative?

If you're upset he didn't close down abortion clinics in Massachusetts, you may want to adjust your expectations a little. Romney was a red-state conservative who moved to extremely blue state Mass and ran for public office. He had to make some compromises to get elected and stay in office. I'm sick and tired of the GOP beating up blue-state conservatives because they compromised. We should celebrate blue-state conservatives not chastise them.

Romney fought the good fight up in Mass and the people of Massachusetts are better off for it.
