Should we let Obama choose where daughters go to school?

Hi, Lucy! I do believe the Obama girls should go to private school because of security reasons. But! I also believe that Michelle should visit these schools and become an advocate for them. Her agenda has been "being the best mom", etc., ad nauseum. The problem with schools are the students, violence and guns. Teachers almost have to go in with a whip and a chair and have no real authority and cannot enforce discipline. Yesterday, that young girlwas shot and killed by another girl in Florida after an argument! I was confused growing up, but nothing like this! The boys would have fist fights but not knifes and never guns! So much pressure on young people today. I believe it`s the breakdown of the family, materialism, lack of spiritual guidance, internet chat rooms, video games and MTV. Gee, I`m no fun anymore, am I?

Now I'm wondering how Dawndawn read your article because I can't see it. I get a white background with yellow highlights.
I had this same problem at another site.
Anyway, thanks for visiting my blog. I'm glad you enjoyed the fun.
Taking my license from dawndawn, I would say the BHO girls should go to the inner city schools in DC and learn what it's really like to be a real American black person with all there is to be dealt with in those schools. Like drug selling, knifings, shootings, etc.
Then let BHO decide whether he'll go for vouchers. I think he would like the voucher idea a lot more that way.

If I had to go to the local public schools instead of the boarding I so desperately wanted because my father was chairman of the local school board and he had a firm belief that the local schools were excellent (they were-I'm literate!), the the First Pickaninnies should go to public ones too.
