Gore and Big Brother
Gore had to reinvent himself as he has been the laughing stock of politics. He tried getting credit for inventing the internet and that failed, he tried taking credit for being the inspiration for "Love Story" and that failed. Now he is plugging "global warming" and is loved not only by all the "Greenies", but the Hollyweird types as well. He had to find something to salvage himself, something that would take the focus off his pathetic lunatic tendencies...my apologies, I normally do not say such things but it is obvous Mr. Gore wants attention and is, to quote an animated Disney character,"a sad little man". The problem is that the Hollyweird types and the Leftists will give him all the attention he wants as long as he plays the tune they want to hear. Which brings me to "Big Brother" (Orwell's 1984). The hero of that story was a history revisionist that worked for Big Brother. If Gore can get the power and attention he craves so badly he too will be like Big Brother and find those Winston Smiths to re-write history in his favor.
"Bush didn’t steal the election in 2000. Gore tried to steal it and he failed when he attempted to litigate the results in Florida through cherry-picking counties in which to have a recount. His attorneys failed to make a valid argument about why they should only recount areas that would most likely favor Gore. The Florida Supreme Court then began playing games with the Florida rules. The U.S. Supreme Court stepped in because the United States was the laughing stock of the world as Gore’s lawyers tried again and again to manipulate the process.
If the American people felt Bush was an election thief, they should have voted Bush out in 2004."
This excellent statement makes my point, I think we all know that those who keep up the Bush stole the election mantra are simply waiting until we get far enough away from the actual event so they can begin to manipulate history. They can't/won't even recognize what Gore tried to do. Now it is 7 years later and what are they still saying? Bush stole the election (along with a myriad of other negatives). They are hoping we will forget. Let's not do them the favor.
