if you have not already discovered this extraordinary prof of psychiatry, you will enjoy him. Of course, the establishmentarian cellular, genetic or pathological clinicians do not enjoy him. Dr. Szasz would take away all their profits from feeding prescription dope to anyone whimpering or simpering or escaping or seeking social significance or being counterculturists.

Feminist moms and educators hated him for attempting to take away their Ritalin. I'm certain that you are aware of that old poison, Metthylphenidate, that teachers and misandrist moms feed to little boys who persist trying to be little boys.

If you are near a "Half Priced Books" you might find his seminar bustin' "The Myth of Mental Illness" (1961). In 2005 a compendium, "Szasz Under Fire," was published. This contains a counterpouint exposition of his challenginf essays and the answers by the most celebrated contemporary professors of psychiatry.

Durch Reagan, while not endoring all that szasz advocated did end the blanket involuntary hold of many mental health inmates. After you become familiar with the body of the work, you discpver that Szasz was a true Conservative.
