The speech he gave to the joint houses of Congress shorly after 9/11 was one of the most inspiring speeches of any President in my lifetime. I have often wondered where that man has gone. Since re-election he has seemed to not care at all what we think about anything. Don't like Arabs running your ports? tough. Don't like your borders remaining wide open? tough. Don't like non-enforcement of immigration laws? tough. Don't like amnesty and Social Security for illegal aliens? tough. Not that I could have voted for John Kerry, but I might have stayed home.
