The toss
I wondered if it was just me, when I saw that pic something just looked,
...not right? I felt this twinge everytime I opened my homepage where it was top left. I went back and looked at other shots (My home page changed pics) and could see nothing specific. Dare I suggest it's just a "feeling", maybe it's just my bias, I can live with that.

He was probably remembering Rev Wrights sermon and thinking
America's chickens have come home to roost.

It's just an image, but speaks loudly
I thought it was strange that the MSN homepage would post the picture of McCain bending over to lay the flower down and Obama tossing it. It's just a snapshot but in some ways it speaks volumes. I haven't heard anything on the news about it, but apparently other people tossed flowers as well. Presidential candidates, however, should be a little more cognizant of their image.
My daughter brought up the "chickens coming home to roost" comment while we were watching the History Channel's presentation of some amateur footage of 9/11. When the north tower was collapsing, she mentioned Rev. Wright's comment and it really hit me in the pit of my stomach. How anyone could see that travesty and say something like that is beyond reason and bordering on lunacy.

My husband did see it and noted the difference -- Your post says it all and so do the comments --
