The Cho Principle

Re: The Cho Principle

Hey Charles, great post! I especially like the way the title sounds like that of a self- help book! Or more accurately perhaps, a self-destruction manual. Anyway, I couldn't agree more. Why is it always our fault every time someone attacks us and we retaliate? While I haven't agreed with Pres. Bush on much of late, our troops are right where they are needed in Iraq, though I wouldn't mind seeing them march victoriously into Tehran either. I guess it must have been our fault that we were attacked at Pearl Harbor too. Maybe Tienanmen Square was all our fault too? Sadly, Paul appears to be living in a previous century (say two centuries ago?) on this issue. Perhaps he's just been studying the Clintons and their tactics for too long. Their strategy of moving to the right to get elected has worked thus far. Maybe he felt he needed to move to the left to have a chance. Hmmm... makes one wonder. Anyway, he's dead wrong on this issue, and while I admire Pat Buchannan's view on some issues, he's wrong here too. Why must we surrender? That's what this troop withdrawal really is. Have we learned nothing from Vietnam when we were so close to victory yet gave up? These guys are dangerous.
