Give me liberty or give me debt

Harry Reid is the reason the bailout happened, he picked up a bill that failed in the house and then added in revenue provisions, entirely in violation of Article I, Section 7 of the U.S. Constitution.

This is why they had to have a debate as to making it the "Dodd Amendment" to another bill, the "vehicle" to be able to resubmit it to the House.

The House Rules also require that revenue provisions in a bill are submitted to committee, and that there are studies done to determine their impact, or that these are submitted with the bill itself.

None of this, absolutely none of this was legal, according to their rules and policies, nor according to the Constitution, and thus, entirely illegal. We handed them the keys and they are making sure to abuse us for it, for being irresponsible with our liberty and the equity it is based upon, via capitalism -- THE redistribution program to distribute the equity that normally sat under the hindquarters of a feudal lord in central government to the people, and trust them to build for themselves.

After The Enlightenment and The Reformation, we, the people who were discovered could be Sentient were finally entrusted with being government instead of being chattel-serf-slaves subject to the whim of those who wish to control us under elite prerogatives.
