Sanity Brings It Out in Others

Sanity, you're good. You even restore ME to Sanity. I wrote two long-winded (but heartfelt) replies to you on my blog, but here's the essence:

People who see the wisdom of Sarah's candidacy will support her. Those who don't won't. And that's fine with me. She will run on her character, not on the basis of "positions" on a bunch of bogus issues.

We can only do so much hand-holding. You state the case for Sarah beautifully. People who can't -- or won't -- see some of that case for themselves have my pity (but not my vote).

Part of Sarah's great appeal is that she probably doesn't have a "position" on immigration. Why should she? I hope she'll be a healer and not a divider.

I read the bio today of one prospective candidate (guess), and I thought, "My gosh, this guy has more skeletons (lobbying money, girlfriends, laziness) in his closet than the American Academy of Surgeons." Sarah has no skeletons. She's a smart, attractive, NORMAL human being, no some egomaniac with delusions of grandeur.

You're right: no pandering to window-shoppers.

Sanity

P.S. I didn't mean to put up a bunch of replies to Jevica -- my last reply in this lifetime to Jevica. The site is malfunctioning. -- steve
