If, as recent trends seem to forecast, we are entering a cooling period that might be the foreshadowing of another Little Ice Age, Carbon Dioxide increasing may just be what keeps us from freezing.

Thatcher, after her first election, was told that the Earth would soon enter an ice age. In answer to her query as to what might be done to prevent it, her advisors advised ramping up industrial output to produce more CO2.


Great stuff, CO2. Can't live without it.

Thank you for your comments. As you said, I actually wrote an article about a year or two ago about how we were starting to go into a cooling cycle of the earth.

Even though it's only a small percentage of the atmospheric content, it may well keep us from freezing to death.
