Porkulus Bill Underscores Need for Term Limits – for Everyone

You guys are 1005 on target here. The idea of the career politician is one that should be shelved. With term limits, people who are qualified to serve from the private sector would be more likely to spend a few years working for the public. People who care about the country will be able to be more effective in Washington because they won't have to constantly be thinking about the next campaign (and making all sorts of "friends" and bed-buddies asap to ensure re-election). They would be more likely to do the right thing - represent their constituents.
