What you or anyone else believes has nothing to do with the actual truth. That's the whole premise of the scholarly work which I am undertaking. When you answer, I don't believe that" you are making no statement concerning the validity of anothers position. Just because a person finds it difficult to accept or acquiesce to the truth, does not render that truth any less valid.
Counterarguments yes. Simple unbelief, no. You'll have to do better than that.
