gee whiz man isn't it enough that our former president hated black people, now you're going to add insult to injury by refusing to apologize for centuries of slavery just because you weren't there. You must be white so you know there's that thing called guilt by association. Just say you're sorry and everything will be okay just as if it never happened and all the pent up frustration will disappear.

If not, you're aware that Africans sold the Africans to European slave traders, correct? Should Africans apologize to American Blacks?

If not, (secondly) that sounds like a remarkable elastic use of the term responsibility. How can I be responsible for that I have not done? My ancestors were serfs (for a lot longer than blacks were slaves in America), perhaps England's nobility should apologize to me?

It's like with Joe Wilson, one apology leads to another and before ya know it the guiltless become, ipso facto, the guilty. Liked your post lots!

Brane

It was implied that I am a racist when I recently attempted to point out it is possible to disagree with someone regardless of their physical attributes. I therefore would like to take this opportunity to apologize. It's not my fault, however ... I am just an average, ordinary American. There. It must be all better (I need a sarcasm font as well)!

mgraves the parallax view is a new blog title, I now converted brane smasher to a blog (no new posts) also authored by AfterShock. Iwas going to leave all this behind and start anew - reasons are too personal to explain, and I was locked out of my primary blog. Finally got that problem fixed. In another universe where the laws of physics are totally different than in our present brane, this all makes sense.
