good to see fellow a hoosier
on TH. A ton of problems with this bill. Nobody read it. No one voting for it or against it read it. Obama lied about his policy when it comes to legislation he pushes through congress. In 2007, he said he would put every bill on the net 48 hours for Americans to read it before congress pushes it through. That obviously didn't happen here. Either more borrowing from China, if they let us, or printing out more money will drop the dollar even more. Stop by my blog sometime.

You are correct
You are correct. The version that will be voted on will have last minute additions made by the STAFF of the Congressmen and women. Just like they have for the last 70-80 years. Regardless of the party in control, there are additions up until the last moment possible to get the copies from the printers to the members of Congress. It is impossible for them to read all of the complete bills before they are voted on. How long does it take to analyze a 1000 page legal document? In lawyer land where an "or" or an "and" completly change the meaning of a sentence, it would take weeks. And the one you read is not the one you vote on.
PS I missed the quote "the mind" is speaking of. Since the President doesn't see a final bill until congress votes on it, how could it be posted by the President 48 hrs before? The difference between 'would like to see" and "will put every bill" is huge. We have been borrowing money from China for the war since it started and to pay for oil. That isn't anything new. Look how long "the mind" has had to read where the money goes. And he still doesn't understand. Are there new 'monies due" under Obama? Of course there are. He should look at the information.
