As for our beliefs, no one can take them away. They may try to legislate and bully them away but we can only give them up. Period. And that is why these … people … ultimately lose. May sound weird but that’s where I net out.

As for the “maggots,” you are 100% (maybe 110%) spot on. The TRUE drain on this country is in fact these career politicians. They ARE maggots feeding on the corpse of those who are honest, hard-working Citizens who want to live their lives without excessive national government interference.

First, I find it interesting that out of the list that I proposed you would take up the issue of guns. Second, the fact that you “really don’t like guns” is a perfectly acceptable POV. A lot of folks don’t like them.

Third, your focus on the “military assault rifle” as a point of real objection is equally interesting to me. If you get shot with a hand gun, shotgun, Girand, AK or any other firearm, if the bullet/shot finds just the right spot, you are d e a d – dead. Oh, getting hit by a vehicle can make you dead as well. Almost any object can be used to assault another.

Great train analogy! We need engineers (not lawyers) to get this train back on track. It’s already off the rails as far as I’m concerned. Yet I believe the cars can be put back on track – however it will have to be done quickly. The rails are starting to rust.
