If you have tracked Fred's acting career, he is acting as himself. His first acting job was to play himself because they couldn't find anyone good enough to play him. His acting roles span the spectrum from Fred Thompson to Fred Thompson. In fact, you can't tell clips from his various roles apart from his political interviews.

I saw where you'd accidentally deleted the first version, and you had a comment to yourself that at least your wife liked what you'd written. I guess because no one had visited yet.

I had to chuckle at that. It disappeared just as I posted a comment.

Don't worry, you'll get visitors. Your essays are pretty good, and it takes a while to get known around here. Plus, the more comments you post on columns and other blogs, the more people will see you and the easier it is for them, to come here when they can just click on your name.
