How many times do people turn down over time because they do the math and they'll get less than fifty cents on the dollar for every extra hour so why bother?

And higher taxes are on the way,Trends reports unemployment actually at 20% and rising,more and more people clamoring for their free cheese and checks.

Even more, how many times do businesses and investors take their business and money ELSEWHERE to avoid the taxation!?

Maine the brilliant legislature and guv have expanded and raised the sales tax to include everything from haircuts to tickets for carnivals.

On top of the new and higher fed taxes, they are actually talking about adding another .11 onto each gal. of gas here.

This won't stop until people wake up and realize they actually have to educate themselves on candidates and their history and voting records and where they stand on the issues. Right now, the culture is so celebrity obsessed, they'll vote for anyone they think is cool.

Loyal Democrats will see the taxes on cigarettes, been, and distilled spirits as their patriotic duty, so they will smoke and drink more, hopefully dying off before they vote again, or at least being too drunk to find the polling stations.

I don't know where you got the 20% from but Iv'e known all along it was higher than the 9.5 reported. I'm just one of those not listed as unemployed by the state because I was self employed until the osamaone obamaone lord imapieceofshitah himself showed up as a US senator and destroyed the housing market. Got the 20% from Trends Institute,they are very seldom wrong in forecasting and statistics.

My unemployment forecast to Mica, Martinez and Nelson was between 24 to 30% nationwide after c&tax but the way osama obama is going about destroying everything he glances at much less touchs it may well hit into the 40 to 50% range.

Gunny, My understanding is that "we, the people" do not have the rights/means to impose term limits on politicians! It has to come from CONgress. Is that correct? Some elected officials have made pledges to not run again but there is no penalty if they change their minds and win. Many in CONgress have never held jobs in the private sector. Senator Byrd has been in office since 1958 or something and they just reelected him! He`s ill and 94 ....

I worked for Boeing in the NW. Read recently they are threatening to move the 787 production line out of WA state to SC because of union demands. They are indoctrinating children to feel guilty if they exhale. Soon the air out of all our orifices will be taxed and how!

The taxes proposed by the libs are such that they will hit hardest the poor and those on fixed incomes; the groups that profess to care about.

Tax on food, who does that hurt?
Tax on gas, who does that hurt?
Tax on utilities driving the cost up, who does that hurt?

A short time ago I called AT&T business office and asked what each tax on my bill was for.
Two of them came out like this;

1. Was a tax the lady on the other end did not know what it was for;

2. One tax was to provide phone service for "underpriviledged". I read that welfare recipients.

I've been banned from Townhall.com. And that leaves me with just one question - What took you so long to prove what I've pointed out repeatedly: Conservatives love freedom of speech -- but only for themselves.

The larger truth is that American right-wingers hate all forms of freedom.

It's conservatives who are ever eager to suppress differing opinions, words, writings and art -- from the McCarthy witch-hunts and the rock 'n' roll record burnings of the '50s to their perennial demands for bans on certain books, movies, television programs and public gatherings; for the firing of teachers and professors, the jailing of "communists," anti-war protesters and doctors who perform abortions.

I could continue to return here under various sock puppets as I've done now, and continue to berate and abuse you un-American, racist b4stards, but I'm not going to waste my time. By silencing my voice once you have more than proved my point.

But just because I won't be posting, don't imagine me to be gone. I first dropped by here the day after Barack Hussein Obama was elected president to see whether the sewer-scum who infest Townhall.com would be so stupid as to threaten his life or suborn armed insurrection. As it happened, I caught sewer-scum-in-chief Gunster doing the latter -- twice -- and forwarded his illiterate posts to the FBI. I've no way of knowing whether they followed up or not, but I suspect they did, since the language in Gunny's psycho rants became immediately more moderate. I think he got the word.
