Webb's negative, vitriolic speech

I agree with you, the tone of Senator Jim Webb's response to the State of the Union, negative and vitriolic compared to the cheery atmosphere in the House chamber during the State of the Union speech. One has to wonder if Webb's speech was recorded before the State of the Union speech was given. The Dems may have picked the wrong guy for the rebuttal as Webb's speech by comparison was so self-referencial throughout that it came off as arrogant.

Jim Webb did tell us clearly that he and by implication the Democrat party can bear to say the word "victory" and thus want to give Iraq to the Iranians, so they can all return to class warfare here at home.
