When I read the comments
by Jørn Hurum, the person who discovered Ida, I don't get the impression that he was hyping Ida as the missing link. Though he did make a strongly stated conclusion, he thought the media coverage engaged in overstating the case and that whether Ida is merely a lemur rather than a missing link is still very much an open question to him

‘missing link’ fraud…
The whole idea of ‘missing link’ is fraud because it is based on the theory or macro-evolution and common descent, rather than a common designer and distinct, created kinds that have demonstrated genetic boundaries. Genesis 1 says that created life reproduce after their kind. They contain their seed within themselves, thus confirming the doctrine of biogenesis. What we now know of the RNA/DNA system confirms the Genesis account.
Genesis 1 stands against the ancient pagan thinking of abiogenesis and macro-evolution. Now the neo-scientists, having rejected the Bible and the authority of Jesus Christ, return to paganism.

It would be a fraud if
they deliberately made false statements. But since they sincerely believe what they are saying, I would count it as wrong but not a fraud

How?
Is not fraud a willing deception? Peter says that those who deny the Genesis Flood are willingly ignorant.
How can you possibly say that they sincerely believe this stuff in light of the Romans 1 doctrine that they are without excuse for suppressing the truth?
‘…what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened’ [Romans 1:19-21]
They are given over to a foolish mind having first suppressed the truth. They are accountable for their own foolishness.

Certainly they have seen God in his creation. But we also have Christians who believe that evolution and the Bible can be mixed. I think they are wrong but they are not denying God by mixing the two.
