To make the Dems more exciting, the way Sarah Palin has charged up the Republican base, they should have MIchelle Obama do an unrehearsed show with Oprah.
Oprah should ask some incisive questins like: How does it feel to be on fully paid leave from the hospital? Do you think the overcharged patients mind?
How well can you manage two kids while hubby's out on the campaign trail?
Do you believe and follow Rev Wright's philosophy since the time he married you?
Do you think the Black Way is better?
Can you shoot a gun and if so, what would you shoot?
Do you like Joe Biden, and if not, why?
etc.
Something substantial instead of dressng her up and coaching her to be like Jackie Kennedy.
