Christmas is about

family. Plain and simple. My family is HUGE. I am the oldest of what is soon to be 20 in my generation of the family. Seeing my now not so baby cousins each year is what makes me happy for Christmas.

This is going to be my son's first Christmas. It's exciting, however as people have been asking me what to get him I keep telling them: Money for his savings account will do just fine. I will take care of the few toys and clothing items that I want him to have. He doesn't play with his toys. Like all children, he has more fun with the box, banging on pots and pans, and getting into my shoes.

It is certainly a time to be charitable. I for my part will be sending packages overseas to wish the soldiers a Merry Christmas with fun items.
