Don't hurry back

Not that I won't miss your posts, but the Thomas trip is pretty fun, especially if your kid is hooked on trains, like mine.

Have a great time. We'll be waiting when you get back!

Arik

He is, though lately he has obsessed on construction equipment and garbage trucks as well.

But trains are in his genes I think. His great grandfather worked on the Baltimore and Annapolis, and then the B&O after they bought out the B&A. And his grandfather worked for Amtrak.

But genetic or not, I am sure he will have a ball. He always loves to go on trips, and since I don't get out so much, he always thinks it is something special when I go along.

I am sure he will enjoy himself. And it isn't too long a drive, so he won't get worn out traveling there.

Have a great time!

Is there any boy between the ages of 3 and 7 or 8 who isn't obsessed with trains?

Enjoy!

You should also see it you can convince Thomas to go all-electric.
To curb Global Warming, you know...

Andrews

I hope you guys have a really nice nice!

Chris

Very few. You should have seen the crowds braving rather chilly temps to ride trains. It was quite surprising how many came out.

I am glad we were on the early Thomas ride. It gave us time to enjoy the ride then visit the Toy Train Museum (and Research Library... really!) before the crowds got too bad.

Redhead

Yes, because electricity involves no pollution. It comes from... um... somewhere we can't see, so it must be clean.

Actually, with their obsession with "renewable resources" shouldn't we all be burning wood?

Sue

It was a great trip. Julian had a ball, and didn't seem to mind the cold. Got some good pictures I will probably get around to posting tomorrow.
