A question for you, sir.
I was tossing around the idea of starting a new blog that would feature military stories and experiences. I thought it would be a great idea to feature stories like that from all of the services.
To that end, I was going to try and see how many military and veterans would be interested in posting their favorite stories and experiences on such a blog, as a Townhall blog can have many writers.
Would you be interested in being part of such a venture?

Of course!
Of course Darth Vader drinks wine from a box! Do you know how hard it is to find a straw that will reach to the bottom of a wine bottle?
What I want to know is why did "Drunk Vader" have a crutch? Couldn't he have used the force and flown? And why didn't Master Jonba Hehol sense his attack ahead of time?

Yes this was funny.
And yes, even though I am a short-timer (USAF, ROTC Advanced, 1969 to 1973, got out when the AF did a RIF in 1973), I would be interested. I even have stories going back to the 1940's from my father and his friends.

I haven't figured out the crutch either. Could it be a "metaphor" for the obvious mental counseling this idiot needs?
As to Master Jonba Hehol not sensing the attack ahead of time; "The Farce Was With Him".

You are probably the "most sane person" to comment so far. At least your analysis makes the most sense.
Thanks for stopping by.

Are you anti-Vaderism?
I didn't realize you were a religious bigot. Shame, shame!
Personally, I worship at the Church of Mr. Spock; he was a really cool alien.

I used to be with Spock; but when they found out that I can only do the Vulcan Hand Sign (Live long and prosper!) with my left hand and not my right hand, I was kicked out.

In reference to what I asked you about starting a blog that was just military stories from all the branches, I was tossing around some names for it.
So far I have come up with:
The Squad Reader
Mail Call
The Mess Hall
The Military Exchange
If you like one of these, or have a better name, let me know. Also, if you know anyone else that you think would like to be a part of this and contribute to it, please let them know about it.
Thanks, and have a great day!

Dear Gray Ghost
Is it so surprising that there are 390,000 professional drunks in Britain? Or that they've made their pasttime Holy?! Maybe the American version (Alcoholics Anonymous) should likewise change their name and start ordaining their counselors!
