Happy Days Will Be One Day Here Again
We Want To Give Obama Time

5 unhappy days
Obama got 5 days from me which is more than the opposition gave George Bush. In that time Obama has signed 6 presidential "decrees"; two of which are overturning the use of foreign aid to fund abortion and closing Gitmo. He is pushing a pork laden unstimulus package. Prohibiting free speach is in his sights and he made his first move on it by warning republicans not to listen to Rush Limbaugh. Sure he loves his family; we all love our families. He just doesn't like other peoples families. He is an arrogant, dictatorial leftist and he frightens me.

My Response To Jon, A Concerned American
January 26, 2006
You are right on when you mention the fear emotion. I will repeat what I said in my blog last night when I declared my fondness and admiration for Obama, his family and his huge accomplishment as being elected in a historical perspective. We had a saying in New York City which applies to the emotional side of my argument: "That and 50 cents will get you on the subway". Obama has already in no time has reverted to a different Obama. I think Michelle looks a lot better than he does in the public estimation. He is whipping up too many debatable issues and mush too fast. People under any scenario are not able to digest his ideas so quickly. I am willing to give him more time because these are issues that could be dangerous to our country unless accomplished with measured logic. Obama is going to have to actually bring in the bacon. If rhetoric and promises go on into infinity America and its admirable citizens will make the appropriate decisions. Jay R
