" Is that what you are refering to?

I think you're Unclear on the concept: the diff betreen HOSTAGES and POWs - one's legal - one ain't. guess which is which.

No comparison. Culturally appropriate meals vs. using captives on state run television for propaganda?

Lately, Middle Eastern captors slit the gullets of political prisoners and infest their cavities with living insects and let them be eaten alive from the inside out; slowly slice off the heads of non-combatants on television; bury a young rape victim up to her neck and stone her to death for ‘adultery.’ Don't tell me these gruesome acts are done to save innocent lives.

How bad are we? IF we think there's something to be gained, ie, innocent lives can be saved from a future 9-11, we might put battlefield captives nude in an air-conditioned room. Or we might tie them to a board with a plastic bag over their face and pour water on it to give them the sensation that they are drowning. Or we might play loud music they don't like.

In other words, we do to them what we do to our own trainees in ‘Fear School,’ where our military guys learn to withstand coercion if captured.

If we don't believe we have anything to learn from our captives, we give them culturally appropriate meals, make sure they have prayer times, get prayer rugs and Korans untouched by ‘unclean’ western hands. Western Christians, Jews and others don't get that decent treatment in the FRIENDLY Islamic countries…
