What's curious about the modern liberal sensibility is that in the course of one generation it's erased the civic and cultural hard drive of Western civilization, in an effort to justify variant modes of behavior, from single parenthood to homosexuality.

The truth is that we do, in fact, know what works, and that's because we have two thousand years of history as evidence, something the left seems to have forgotten. It's as though they're human Mayflies, no historical memory, living for the moment, inventing morality as they move from one problem to the next.

That's their brave new world.
