Mitt Believes...In Kolob!

Mormon interpretations of Kolob

In modern Mormon theology, Kolob is interpreted either literally or symbolically. Judging from the volume of literature, the literal interpretation has always had the greater following.

According to the literal interpretation, Kolob is an actual star in this universe that is near to, or perhaps the sun of, the physical throne of God. This interpretation has significant formative impact on Mormon belief and criticism, leading to conceptions such as that the faithful will be made gods of planets in this universe, that God dwells within this universe rather than transcending it, and that the Biblical creation is a creation of the local earth, galaxy, or solar system rather than the entire known physical reality.

Mitt will surely know what to do, ''Mork calling Orson, come in Orson...''

Romney is a heretic.

He actually believes in an angel called "Moroni"
a ridiculous figment concocted by the delusional Joseph Smith who founded this weird cult.

That tells me Romney is one of the most gullible human beings ever to hold elective office. An angel named Moroni? Gimee a break!

And if Romney believes in "Jesus" as the prosperity gospel, ("God wants you rich") TV televangelist preacher, (Jpohn Osteen) claims, its "a Jesus" other than the Jesus of the New Testament.

In fact, its the Jesus that Mormon whackos believe is the spiritual brother of lucifer. Paul warned Christians against those who preach "another Jesus" and other Gospels-like the heretical "book of mormon". Read Second Corinthians 11:4.

Indeed, the Epistle of Jude, verse three (3) tells us that there is no new faith or relevation-the faith was once and all for all deliverd to the saints in the first century.

Therefore, Joseph Mmith was either liar or a demented heretic.

I can't believe these panic stricken Christians who are so petrified of Ms Clinton that they think they have to rally around a flip flopping Massachusetts liberal who inposed a mandatory health insurance policy oon all masasachusetts citizens-with the collaboration of his friend Ted kennedy.Thats nota conservative ideal its Mitts version of Hillary Care! Yes, Hillary too believes in a Romney style mandatory health insurance policy to be inflicted upon all Americans-whether they want, or can afford to purchase it. No thanks, Mitt.

Actually, Romney is the *only* GOP candidate that Hillary can actually defeat in the general election. I won/t vote if Romney is the nominee. And neither should any Bible Believing, Biblically literate Christian.

Paul warned us against Corpone's Jesus

Paul had a correct understanding of who God the Father is and his Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. He knew they were three distinct and separate persons. He was warning us against your 4th century Nicene Creed version of an ethereal, non-corporal, mixed-up entity without body parts or passions, blah, blah, blah.

Do you think Jesus died again after his resurrection or did he keep his physical body? Doesn't he still have it now?

Go ahead, reject Romney, but you reject many other things out of ignorance even though you think you know all about them.

Don't worry about Mormonism

Miguel and Harry you don't need to worry about Mormonism. The current leaders of the LDS church are trying to move Mormons toward the mainstream and away form extreme Mormon doctrines.

Most Mormons no longer believe they can become a God by their own efforts in this life. They are now being taught Mormons cannot get to Heaven by their own efforts, that they need to believe and accept Jesus as their Saviour.

Mormons are even comfortable with the fact that their current Mormon "prophets" have not received any revelations for over 50 years.

Yes, they are not orthodox Christians, but God is not done with them yet.

Mitt Romney shares our traditional values and lives by our traditional family values. He has even changed his illegal immigration position to NOT reward illegal invaders with amnesty. Note Huckabee has NOT changed his position which is to reward illegals with amnesty.

I prefer Duncan Hunter; however, he has not been able to fundraise enough money to move into the first tier of viable candidates.

Huckabee is starting to move up; however, his position of favoring amnesty for illegal aliens is a vote killer for me.

Mitt has heard the grassroots and has changed his position to be against amnesty. So as of today, I plan to vote for Mitt, unless Huckabee disavows his pro-amnesty for illegals.

Cornpone Harry, do you know

who decided the Mormon, Mitt Romney, was a member of a cult? Do you realise his faith in The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit is the same as ALL Christians in the world? Cornpone Harry, Mitt Romney is not deceived...you are the deceived...NOT by satan I pray.

Brett, Brett...

I just wish people like you would make sure you know what you're talking about before you spout off because you just make a fool of yourself.

I am a Latter-day Saint. I have served a full-time mission and have served as a bishop in the Church. I know the doctrines and practices of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You don't.

Church leaders are not moving the Church into the mainstream. We have always believed in Christ as the Savior, for example. Now we have enough numbers to command a little more attention so we can correct all the misstatements and lies about our beliefs that exist.

Latter-day Saints have never believed in salvation on our own efforts. We recognize that only Christ can save. We also recognize that Jesus expects us to have faith in him, repent, be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost. We believe we can become like God. These are all Biblical doctrines.

You say we are comfortable with not having received revelation in the past 50 years. This is ridiculous. We believe that Jesus is the head of the Church, and that He directs its affairs through constant revelation. There have been additions to our scriptures in the last 50 years and we fully expect more when the Lord sees fit to give them to us.

You are just parroting what you read from anti-Mormon bigots. That tells me a lot more about you than you have told me about Mitt Romney or Mormonism.
