THE AUTHENTIC BIBLICAL HISTORY OF SATAN

Fascinating post. Great read and thanx for putting this together. If I'm not mistaken, satan used to be on the same level as Gabriel before his "fall," wasn't he?

Now my question is, what prompted you to put up this particualr post? (I am a curious person)

Jesse

Great Read!!

I have heard this...I have also heard that Baal was Jupiter and Ashtoreth Venus. In any case I do know know that he was worshipped on huge scale not only by the Moabites and the Jews...the Phoenicians had their own version of Baal, or Baalbereth or Baalim plural.

If Baal is not satan....he may as well be, with false pagan idol worship running rampant it all leads to his gameplan.

I had a question too...that I have wondered about. Your theories.....??

If there is no sin in Heaven..how did Lucifer sart his downward spiral and take 1/3 of the Angels with him?

Could it be that there is no in Heaven....yet? At least not the Heaven we think of, but rather that all believers are located in "Jacobs Bosom" until Christs return and the judgement? In the same regard non-believers are not in the true hades or hell as the bottomless pit is not yet opened.

Makes the thought process interesting...Great Post!!!

I'm going to mostly start writing considering religious doctrine from now on. I know why I'm here and while I do have an interest in politics, it is not for me to spend my time pondering about anymore. There will come posts that will deal with global politics and will use biblical lessons and prophecies to make my point. Helel might have even been higher than Gabriel, but he was certainly at least on the same plane.

The angels had free reign. Sin was possible for the angels, whether they be in heaven or wherever. When our creation goes to heaven, there is no sin possible. There is a heaven, but it's temporary. It's just a temporary holding place and will cease to exist either after Jesus returns or when the great white throne judgment occurs. Then the Kingdom of God will come to Earth so heaven will have no further use. The Kingdom will come as a great temple. Jesus did say heaven would pass away. Nonbelievers are judged differently after this life than those who have done wickedly or those who have made the wrong choice in this life. God will not condemn those that cannot be held accountable. As is written in the original Greek, that's what the next age is for. One must go through Jesus to have everlasting life, but it doesn't necessarily say one must go through Jesus to get to heaven. All will have to make their choice either in this life, or the next one.

As far as hell goes, there is a hell both up there and one down here. The one down here has not been opened yet, and that's the bottomless pit. The hell up there is where the rich man is, which you eluded to with "Jacob's bosom". I have to say, I'm very impressed with your learning and questions. This wasn't the first time I've been impressed with your learning. You're getting very close to the mystery of all. Keep it up.

Jesse

I think....I meant to phrase "Abrahams Bosom"
I have heard of this only a few times in my references...

You Rock Man!!

Jason

Yeah, you're right. You corrected me also. Do you have a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance? Just wondering.

Jesse

I'll have to question my father on this. He's a theological genius and great preacher. Hopefully I can get a good response from him soon.

I think the rest of my answer Jason got there first. Of course I'd wished I'd have studied more into the old testament than the new, but you raise some interesting thoughts. Good post.

Eric

Am interested in hearing what he has to say, but what I teach is quite unconventional. After much studying and soul searching for the reasons as to why there is a difference between Helel and Satan, and never failing to ask the right questions, this is where my soul lead me.

Jesse

I do not....is it pretty extensive in detail??

Jason

It doesn't preach or anything. This is what it does. Every word in the KJV is listed in this book and it will show everytime each word shows up and where it's at. Unless it is one of the very common words, they will also give the surrounding text. There will be a number to the right. The number will represent a number in one of the dictionaries. If the word in that particular verse is from the OT, then it corresponds with the Hebrew dictionary in the back. If the word in that verse is from the NT, then it corresponds with the Greek.

Jason cont.

Those words in those dictionaries are the original words before the translation of the KJV. Those are God's words in its original form. It will have the Hebrew/Greek writing, pronunciation, and meaning. This book bypasses any mistranslations or misinterpretations of the KJV. I recommend to anyone that studies to get this book. It will open your eyes.

Jesse

Yeah, my dads been away traveling for now, but sometime I'll ask him this question.

Jesse

Great stuff and you know that Babylon had often been called the Seat of Satan. In Job, Satan is called, The Satan. Angels might have been messengers, but Enoch mentions that they had some type of free will which led to that revolt that Jude mentions from the old book of Enoch. Drop by my latest on clones. Glad you are feeling better.

rackoons

The angels did have free will, and that's how Helel was allowed to fall. They probably still do have free will. The good thing is those angels who followed Helel were the ones who had it in them to fall. The rest will not fall or else they would have already done so.
