I've been reading Newt's newsletters lately and he points to the recent losses:special elections for open seats in the House. With less than 6 months before the Nov. election, can the "pubs" stave off disaster? Will we end up with a liberal President and Congress in 2009 (esp. if the Senate has 60+ Democrats)?
