Kerry: Global "Warming" to Blame for Southern Tornadoes

When

The "experts" can tell me with 99.7% accuracy what the weather will be next week, I will begin to take them seriously. Until then, they're just more quackers, quacking for attention.

Take the Politics Out of It

Kerry was stupid to bring up Global Warming in that political way. The big problem is that hardcore right-wingers are now against any environmental concerns, even the common sense ones such as those proposed by McCain.

Don't ignore the elephant in the closet

It's the most natural thing in the world when a catastrophe like this strikes causing such devastation and loss to want to avoid associated subjects (i.e. global warming) that are controversial.

We can't ignore the fact that it is the truth that the warming global climate and associated warmer oceans ARE causing more violent swings in the weather. There is a minority of scientists who will argue the point, but the overwhelming majority agree that it is a fact. We must accept that this is happening and learn to adapt, and quit wasting energy arguing and pretending that its not happening. It also of no use getting our panties in a bunch over the fact that a politician like Kerry actually had the (gasp) nerve to mention this obvious conclusion.
