Booted Off Again -- But Here's the Top 10 Pakistan Movies Anyway!

Ahem.

The one good Bond movie that Timothy Dalton did, The Living Daylights, had our hero ending up in Pakistan: "Karachi. I know a good restaurant in Karachi."

Maybe that should go in place of #8 ?

Movie Hour should be FIRST!

I don't care what Hugh says. Movie Hour should take precedence over EVERYTHING except perhaps the return of Jesus.

Someone needs to smack Hugh upside the head and tell him that more is happening in the world than just U.S. politics. I elect you to do it Emmett.

Speaking of elections - I for one am getting tired of ALL ROMNEY ALL THE TIME RADIO.

A lot of news is going by the wayside while he and his guests speculate/second guess one day and wonder why they were wrong the next. Except sometimes generalities are used so often that everyone can say they were right.

In the meantime the real important stuff (LIKE THE LAUGHTER the Movie Hour gives us!!!) gets thrown off the bus...

Agreed, prying1

The movie hour is a prime example of what a conservative NPR could and should be like. Funny, informative, engaging and witty, it's welcome respite from the serious topics of the day.
