Abortion and Pascal’s Wager

Abortion Wager
I've never thought of it that way, and I am familiar with Pascal's wager. But here is yet another way of saying it that will be convincing without having to rely on religious principles, which many do not accept.
If pro-choice is right, there is no problem aborting children. If they are wrong, however, then every abortion is a tragedy. If a pro-lifer is right, then every abortion is a tragedy. If a pro-lifer is wrong, there is nothing to lose by allowing children to be born. Thus, one is not very inconvenienced to be pro-life. But to be pro-choice is to potentially responsible for millions of deaths. In that "pascal's wager," one should bet on life.
I wonder how people who maintain that its an issue of when life begins will respond to this...

A new wager!!
I have found often times that your Theology is dictated by your morals. When you are willing to make some lifestyle changes, it is amazing how much more open you are to the Truth. Going from self-gratification to self-donation brings life not choice which leads to death. I'll wager Generosity over Selfishness any day. How about you?

How to stop abortion
What I appreciate about this blog is 1)articles are logical, succinct and 2) a great extra is the links to excellent follow-up:like National Review Online, Wall Street Journal, priestsforlife, etc. We will stop abortion by changing minds and hearts (and by prayer!) and reading and sharing these articles will help a lot. Gratefully, sage.
