2010 - Last Chance for a Free Republic

guarantee that 2010 is the turning point

Just who do you ahve in mind that would "save the republic"
How ridiculous!

I remain incredulous that yiou were silent over the last decade when the current damage was fulminating.

As to who I had in mind, I believe I stated in conclusion that I was referring to "those who care about the survival of the Republic" - which, I would hope, includes you.

As for blaming Obama's blitzkrieg against the individual liberty and free markets on George Bush, that one is getting old fast. Besides, I have been a tireless critic of Republicans who are little more than tax-and-spend Democrats in Republican clothing.

Oh, by the way, spell-check is a good idea...

coopmeister is almost right for a change

While I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment John, I must say that the likes of rep Banyard Frank, Charlie [W]Rangle[r]; and company had been doing most of their damage under Bill Clinton (especially 1998 through 2000). The real dim wits have been republican majorities that allowed em to get away with it. Of course with the likes of jumpin Jim Jefford's the left did some more damage in the first couple seasons after Bush was elected. But GW didn't learn any lessons he just kept makin' deals with these devils.

And since 2006, even under a republican president, the dirty devils have been very effective at setting the stage to obliterate our economy and move us toward trans-globalism. The Bush admin/DOJ should have had a policy of investigating, going after and prosecuting ACORN and other subversive organizations well before the '06 elections. But Bush -- aside from his liberalism on the domestic front -- went inexorably down the path of believing liberals could be trusted at some level and that making agreements with them were of value to America.

Yup I too remain incredulous that the scum and villainy behind all this were not routed out by the DOJ under Bush before they were able to cause the economic and political damage to the country we're seeing today. I for one am not confident we'll still have a free republic come election time.

The answer is real simple

I smell the stench of appeasement in the air.

That's the problem, Dimocrits never give in they whine and cry and scream when they don't get their way, Republicans keep giving in and then they blame us for the damage they do.
