A New Kind of Evil

Yup...that about sums it up.

I wholeheartedly agree. Around my house, we've been discussing two things for some time now:

1. Bush has principles, and he stands by them, even though it has made him very unpopular. R

2. The left in this country just don't get it. They think that if one side or the other just stops fighting there will be peace.

To rationalize the Islamic Jihad, the left makes up a list of the 'sins' we have committed and say that everything being done to us is our fault. It's the same excuse an abused wife uses to justify the beatings her deranged husband delivers. "It's my fault." "I provoked him."

There are two ways out of this scenario; stand up to the b@stard or lie down in a body bag.

We've stood up to the b@stard in Iraq and here is where the left in America miss the big point of the war. There is a modernist faction of Islam that wants to coexist with Christianity. Albania is a good example. With low tax rates and a business friendly government, Albania was profiled in Forbes magazine as a modern Muslim success story. Capitalism has taken root and the people of Albania are enjoying a peaceful march up the economic ladder. When people see that they can have a better life but for the fundamentalist next door, they stand up to the b@stard. We're seeing that in Iraq today.

The left, with the figurehead of Obama, are like the abused wife who keeps saying "he'll change, he loves me" after each beating. They prefer to stick their heads in the sand in the belief that if one wishes for world peace long enough, it will magically be brought by a leprechaun riding a unicorn flying over a rainbow and guided by the tooth fairy and bigfoot (I believe they call it "the Rainbow Coalition").

If you want peace, my friends, you have to fight for it.
