I see your point and there's a lot of logic behind the choice, but I don't think that's the way he's going to go. I believe he thinks he doesn't need her, and I believe there's a lot of bad blood there.

It's true that politics makes strange bedfellows, but I don't think that's going to happen in this case. We'll soon know.

Yeah, there's bad blood. But with the polls tightening up, Obama has got to be smart enough to realize that he needs those Hillary supporters who will not vote for him. Maybe his pride will really get in the way. I hope it does. I fear an Obama/Hillary ticket more than any other potential combination.

Hewitt lays out some reasons why, and referencing a Brooks column giving the opposite conclusion. I think Hewitt's a lot closer to the truth on this one.
