If . . .

If...or maybe FI,,,

1) I wouldn't have minded if GWB had scheduled 100 press conferences, IF he had just told the truth.

2) It is well known that everyone from presidents to talk show hosts use telaprompters at press conferences.

3) We would have said "good for him" the family is very important in this country. I wonder why GWB kept his own daughters hidden for 8 years.

4) In the course of a president's business , contact with the public and Congress is very necessary and abetter than deciding issues only among four cohorts.

Well Lulu, you mean...

1) Not lying, like saying govrernment workings will be more transparent or closing GITMO, or getting out of Iraq or saving jobs or having an ethical administration or not being beholding to special intrests...... or what exactly?

2) Talk show hosts aren't leaders of nations, they are paid to talk not use their brains, as is evident on a nightly basis. The leader of the free world should be capable of presenting his message unscripted.

3) The Bush twins were in college during their fathers presidency, I recall no attempt at hiding them. Also, I recall much howling from the Left each time GW went to Crawford claiminmg he was always on vacation.

4) Every time GW Bush met with people he was accused of taking orders from them or relinquishing control of matters to them. A president should seek counsil but decisions are ultimately his, another thing that GW Bush was mocked for pointing out.
